Strategy Partners Group was founded in 2016 by Vince Coyner, a business strategist and MBA whose work has focused for more than two decades on identifying market shifts, hidden risks, and structural changes before they become obvious.

From anticipating the collapse of the Yellow Pages industry to identifying brand-consumer disconnects preceding billions of dollars in CPG asset write-downs, the underlying philosophy has remained consistent: data often reveals important changes before conventional measures fully reflect them.

That same principle led to the development of P3M, the Proactive Portfolio Protection Module.

P3M applies structured analysis to revolving-credit portfolios to identify accounts that appear stable but may be experiencing or developing financial stress before conventional delinquency signals fully emerge. At the same time, the broader framework seeks to identify opportunities to reengage delinquent cardholders and provide lenders with tools designed to encourage renewed payment activity and account rehabilitation.

The premise is practical. Financial institutions do not need to solve every aspect of a distressed cardholder’s financial situation. They need earlier visibility into developing stress and better options for protecting the account relationship when limited household liquidity is being allocated among competing obligations.
